SEN School is seeking dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our passionate team supporting children and young people aged 4 to 19 years with Autism and complex learning needs.
We currently have 3 x job vacancies within this school.
1 – Year 6 1:1 Non Verbal Autism
2 – Year 9 – Class of 6 x students, Verbal / Non Verbal
3 – Year 1 – Class of 7 x students, Verbal / Non Verbal. Personal Care required
🔹 About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored support to students with Autism across a range of age groups.
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
* Support students with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs.
🔹 Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with Autism is essential.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
