Key Responsibilities:
Dedicated Support: Provide unwavering support to students with Autism, ASD, and Complex Needs within primary schools
Tailored Education: Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
Inclusive Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Collaborative Efforts: Work hand-in-hand with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Skill Development: Support students in developing essential social skills and independence.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience: Relevant qualifications or significant experience working with children with Autism, ASD, and Complex Needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
Compassion & Patience: A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students.
Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Inclusivity & Diversity: Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the classroom.
Safeguarding: Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
