Title: Primary Special Educational Needs Teacher Wanted

Job Type: Full-time contract

Salary: Competitive, based on experience(to scale)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team. As a specialist in SEN, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support and guidance to children with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
* Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and facilitate their academic and personal development.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure effective communication and support for students.
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods and interventions as necessary to address emerging needs and challenges.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic well-being of all students.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* Specialisation or additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN to reach their full potential.
