Pay: Weekly £450.00 to £550.00
SEN School is a secondary special school for students aged 11 to 19 with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). A significant proportion of our learners also have additional sensory and physical impairments, requiring a highly personalised and supportive approach to learning.
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with previous experience in PMLD settings to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with complex learning, sensory, and physical needs.
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication support.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver individualised learning programmes.
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
🔹 Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience working with students with PMLD is required.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting learners.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable students.
