Job Opportunity: Qualified Nursery Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Sydenham, London
Hours: Monday to Friday (09:00-18:00)
Pay: Weekly
Hourly Rate: £13.68 – £15.61
The Role:
We are seeking a Qualified Nursery Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3) to join a friendly and supportive team based around the Sydenham area and South East London. You will play a key role in delivering engaging activities, supporting children’s development, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Monitor and record children’s progress and development
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Assist with feeding, changing, and general care routines
Requirements:
A recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A genuine passion for working with children
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
