About the Role: Sugarman Education is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive school located in Islington. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to provide support for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autism and Emotional Behaviour Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide tailored support to Secondary aged children with Special Educational Needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop key social and communication skills.

· Work closely with the class teacher to implement individualised learning strategies.

· Foster a nurturing and structured environment to support the child’s emotional and educational development.

· Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and reports.

Requirements:

· Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.

· A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
