Are you looking for flexible working hours? Do you have experience teaching children on a 1:1 basis?

Sugarman Children Services division are recruiting for qualified teachers who can deliver core subjects in English, Maths or Science, at KS1. KS2. KS3 or KS4.

About the 1:1 Teaching Role

  • Experience with children: Essential
  • Hourly Rate: £25 per hour
  • Flexible working hours: AM or PM
  • SEN experience; with challenging behaviour or disengaged children
  • Key Stage: 1 – 4
  • Location: Remote
  • Provide a fun and safe environment for the child to learn
  • Ability to keep children engaged and motivated
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English, Maths, Science
  • A calm approach even when under pressure
  • Start date – Immediate.

To be eligible for this role you must have the following:  

  • QTS or Equivalent   
  • Have a strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, Science and Functional Skills)   
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children/ young people in a classroom setting.   
  • Enhanced DBS on the update system   
  • Hold right to work in the UK   
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy   
  • Taught in a classroom setting in the UK
