Sugarman Education is currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants for a Primary School in Newport, South Wales. You will be working in a KS1 setting helping children with various special educational needs, full time, starting ASAP.
It would be beneficial for the candidates to have had experience with special needs that include:
- Learning difficulties
- Down’s Syndrome/Cerebral Palsy
- Challenging behaviour
The school is a fantastic place to work with friendly, experienced staff and outstanding support procedures in house. Your role with the school will vary from working with a child in KS1 on a one-to-one basis, to taking small groups of children and general class work. The school aims to provide a warm and nurturing environment to all its pupils as well as to provide the guidance and support which enables children to build confidence, self-esteem, independence, tolerance and respect for others.
