Teaching Assistant (LSA)
Location: South London/ Age Range: 5-19 | Full-Time | 08:30-16:00 | Immediate Start
Sugarman Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (Learning Support Assistant) to join a specialist primary and secondary provision for boys aged 5 to 19 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in a structured and supportive environment that follows Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) techniques. Experience or qualifications in PBS are highly desirable.
Key Details:
Full-time hours: 08:30-16:00
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
Team Teach training is desirable but not essential
Strong internal support system with staff-led cover arrangements
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
Team Teach or PBS experience (preferred)
Reliable, proactive, and committed to making a difference
Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Have a DBS on the update service or willing to do one through Sugarman Education
Able to provide two employment references
