Teaching Assistant Role – South London

Location:

Kingston Upon Thames/ Sutton/ Merton/ Croydon/ Wandsworth/ Lambeth

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 16:00

Full-time, term-time only

Permanent position – full commitment required

Pay:

£89 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

About the School:

A highly respected special academy catering to pupils aged 7-18 with a wide range of learning needs, including complex and moderate learning difficulties. Every student has an EHCP, and the school is known for its nurturing, family-like working environment.
They are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team and support pupils across a variety of needs, including non-verbal communication, PMLD, ADHD, trauma, and global developmental delay. You’ll be working in small classes (around 6 pupils per class), providing tailored support and helping students thrive in a safe and structured environment.

Ideal Candidate:

* Must be available Monday to Friday on a long-term basis

* Experience in care, SEN, or support work is beneficial but not essential

* Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate

* Training provided to support your development

* Must have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service

* Able to provide at least two employment references
