What is the NTP?

The NTP supports schools by providing tutoring services to students with additional support both in school and online, supplying the highest quality teachers to help those who have missed out on certain aspects of their education during the recent Covid-19 pandemic.

What qualifications and experience do I need to become an NTP tutor?

To register as an NTP Tutor with Sugarman Education, we require all tutors to be qualified teachers or learning support workers and must have completed our compliance process, which includes but not limited to:

• Confirmation of your right to work in the UK
• 2 proofs of address that match DBS guidelines
• Qualifications
• DBS
• Oversees Police Checks (if applicable)

We’re looking for fun, engaging tutors who can deliver friendly teaching and support to help students reach their goals and give them the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed.

How do I register?

It’s a simple 5 step process to register with us!

1. Register

Firstly, once you register your interest with us you will be contacted by a member of our team to discuss your experience and qualifications.

2. Identity Checks

Following the initial contact, you will be sent a brief application pack to complete and return to your consultant. Once the first steps of the compliance checks are completed you will be invited to attend an interview.

3. Interview

The interview is your time to share details of all your relevant experience, both professional and personal.

4. Completion

Following your interview any remaining compliance checks will be made. You will be notified by your consultant when your application has been completed and we will then be able to place you into work.

5. You’re an NTP tutor!

Throughout the process we will keep you up to date with the schools and academies that require NTP tuition in your local area, so you can start work as quickly as possible.
